Martin advises companies on digitizing their models business. He is member of the 3D task force of Osborne Clarke, a group of experts advising companies on the various legal implications of the new technology.
His legal focus is on copyright law and licensing agreements. Martin has special expertise in the area of libel and privacy, in press distribution law and all related matters. He has been dealing with questions of advertisement law, including unfair competition law, the law of contracts of media planning and advertising agencies for many years.
Before joining Osborne Clarke, Martin was working in-house at Gruner + Jahr for 15 years; he was Deputy General Counsel there for nine years.
Martin studied law in Hannover and Geneva and completed his clerkship in Hamburg and New York. He worked as a research assistant at the Max-Planck Institute for Foreign and International Private Law in Hamburg and participated in Executive Education programmes at the INSEAD and at Harvard Business School. He publishes regularly on sector-specific issues.
